Construction hasn’t always had a big role in sustainability strategy other than implementing the client and design team plans.  In recent years industry focus has shifted from operational carbon emissions to embodied, also known as the emissions associated with manufacturing building products.  Embodied carbon will be responsible for nearly half of all building emissions in the next 30 years.  We will share resources and strategies for how construction can make a significant impact in reducing carbon emissions associated with buildings.
