We would like to give big thank you to WIC, Western Allied and guest speaker, Jo Miller, for hosting our June virtual meeting, “Get Your Shift Together: 5 Ways to Shift from Doing to Leading” Jo took us through a journey within ourselves as Leaders to ask each other questions like, “Which tactical activities will you let go of?” ‘Which strategic activities will you do more of?” and towards the end after we networked and discussed more within our breakout groups, we asked ourselves, “What kinds of shifts will I focus on being: Tactician to Strategist, Doing to Delegating, Optimizer to Transformer, Order taker to Rule Breaker, Me to We.” Attendance was in abundance as our latest virtual events have allowed our community to access our events with more ease in their daily work life balance. We look forward to this partnership again in the future.
