Hannah Pettinichio

Hannah Pettinichio (Monteiro) works at Silicon Valley Mechanical as a Director – Administrative Operations, SHRM – CP in Livermore, CA. She has been in the industry for over 10 years. Hannah started in construction when a family member thought of her for a construction marketing position at their company. After working unpredictable hours in retail merchandising and marketing for almost a decade, she got the job and never looked back! Hannah was fortunate to work for a company that exposed her to various aspects of construction and the mechanical industry specifically. Hannah learned early how much growth and opportunity was at her fingertips in this industry if she applied herself. Being part of a team and seeing projects through their completion is what drives her. Only regret she has is not knowing about the construction industry earlier.

Hannah’s favorite thing about construction is that she really enjoys the amount of collaboration and innovation there is today. Her company is literally building systems, both physically and internally that support growth and development in the silicon valley. Besides being involved in WiOPS Norcal, Hannah is also co-founder of the Silicon Valley Mechanical WIC, and a member of NAWIC – Santa Clara and WiMI.

Someone who inspires Hannah is her father. He instilled a strong work ethic and level of empathy for others which has helped her handle difficult, changing situations especially in today’s climate. Balancing life and work will always be a challenge. As a working mom Hannah have a new understanding of how important and difficult that really is. Whatever phase you are in, know you will overcome it, grow from it and to be patient with yourself.
