Name: Lyka Oka
Company and position: ISEC, Project Manager
This month we would like to recognize Lyka Okada as our July Member of the Month! Lyka is a Project Manager at ISEC, Inc where she is currently working on the California Air Resource Board SCCP Project. Prior to this project she worked on the Rancho Los Amigos Rehab project with McCarthy. This project was her favorite because she had the opportunity to work alongside some strong individuals on her own team as well as the GC who taught her some great lessons.
When Lyka’s family moved to the states when she was eight years old she decided that she wanted a career as a Civil Engineer. She followed that dream to CSU Long Beach, and after a year of studies she decided that her true passion was to be in Construction Engineering Management. While finishing up her degree Lyka was an intern for ISEC and decided to come work full time for them after she graduated. When not on the jobsite you can find her at home watching the latest movies and tv shows. She is also a world traveler who hopes to visit Paris in the near future with her husband.
