Our WiOPS Member of the Month for October 2017 is Leah Wimberly. She is an estimator, as well as a project manager, at Pacific Wall Systems. She has nearly 10 years’ experience in the construction industry. Her favorite things about construction are “being able to see a project transform into the finished product. I really enjoy seeing plans and details and then watching them come to life.” She also enjoys working together with a general contractor and the many other trades, all with one common end goal in mind. She notes that “it is very rewarding to hear positive feedback from clients that they are happy with your work.” Additionally, the relationships she’s made, whether with clients or other subcontractors, make her pleased that she’s in this industry. When she’s not working hard, she enjoys golfing, watching hockey, going to the beach, delicious food and trying new things.
