Thank you to AD/S for hosting the April Speed Mentoring event! This event was incredibly thought out and thought provoking.
First, members were met by two caricature artists, to capture us in our most exaggerated form, and the catering was eye catching and delicious! For the speed mentoring, members were encouraged to sit with individuals they had never met before, and the “daters” would go table to table providing valuable insights for challenges faced before, during, or after a construction project. These “daters” ranged from a Senior Project Manager from a General Contractor, to an Architect, Inspector, Project Director, and other various roles from AD/S. At the end of our “dates,” we voted for the best dater – an enthusiastic Architect from Gensler being the winner. The night concluded with shop tours, where AD/S could showcase their shop divisions and proud partnerships of the year.
