a. Types of Information Collected

WiOPS generally does not sell or trade collected information to third parties specifically for commercial use. Third parties may collect your information when you use our Website or online services. We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. You can opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”) on the NAI’s website.
d. Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers have a “do not track” feature that lets you tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. At this time, we do not track our customers over time and across third-party websites to provide targeted advertising and therefore WiOPS does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. The information we may collect automatically is only statistical data and does not include personal and financial information. It helps us to improve our Website and to deliver a better service to all customers. However, you do have the option to opt-out of interest-based advertising (see above) or opt-out of the selling of your personal information at any time (see below).
2. Accessing and Correcting Your Information
You may send us an email to your local chapter contact to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.
3. Children Under the Age of 16
Our Website is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not allow purchases by children under the age of 16, and therefore do not knowingly collect related personal or financial information from children under the age of 16. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under the age of 16 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. 4. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, California law may provide you with additional rights regarding our use of your personal information. California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users of our Website that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. This Website and the servers that store collected information have industry–standard security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under WiOPS’ control. Authentic Website pages requesting credit card information will be secure web pages, and sensitive data will be encrypted for transmission. We do not allow purchases by children under the age of 16, and therefore do not collect related personal or financial information from children under the age of 16. Consumers who opt-in to personal information sales may opt-out of future sales at any time.

Once you make an opt-out request, we will wait at least twelve (12) months before asking you to reauthorize personal information sales. However, you may change your mind and opt back in to personal information sales at any time by sending an email to info@wiops.org. You do not need to create an account with us to exercise your opt-out rights. We will only use personal information provided in an opt-out request to review and comply with the request.

We reserve the right, at any time and without notice, to add to, change, update, or modify this privacy policy simply by posting such change, update, or modification on the Website and without any other notice to you.
