Join us in congratulating the July 2025 Member of the Month, Shanteria Bond! Shanteria is a Sales Manager for The Herrick Corporation and has been in the construction industry for 7 years. After Shanteria completed her studies in Project Management, someone shared with her that the fastest way to truly learn “project management” was to work in construction. After taking their advice to try it out, she has not looked back! Something that surprised her about working in construction was how relationship driven the industry is, and how dependable, strong partnerships are just as important as the technical aspects to have a successful project. She enjoys the tangibility of projects progressing from drawings to reality and being part of the team that made it happen! Shanteria enjoys the WiOPS community and connecting with powerful women paving the way in construction at the monthly events. She is currently working on sharpening her negotiation skills and expanding her technical knowledge.
