Thank you to Schuff Steel for hosting the July event Girls Just Want to Weld!
The event was held at Lincoln Electric’s showroom and kicked off with stations that included welding, virtual welding, and a robotic welding arm! Attendees put on welding jackets, welding helmets and learned how to weld with 2 Lincoln Electric welders. There was a competition for highest score at the virtual welding station. The top 3 winners won “Jessi the Welder” helmets to continue their skill after the event.
Delicious food and drinks were served after the hands-on portion was completed, where members could network with one another and prepare for the raffle. There were multiple winners of the raffle thanks to Schuff, and their vendors generosity.
