We were thrilled to welcome Karine LeBlanc, author of How to Be a Human in a Technical World, who led an engaging and energetic conversation about emotional intelligence. Karine brought incredible energy to the stage, plenty of laughter, and a powerful message that gave our members practical tools they can take into their everyday leadership and professional lives.
Our WiOPS members walked away with a deeper understanding of how to:
✨ Recognize how emotional intelligence influences leadership effectiveness, communication, and decision-making in high-pressure environments.
✨ Identify leadership behaviors that build trust, engagement, and accountability within teams.
✨ Apply practical emotional intelligence tools to strengthen influence, collaboration, and workplace relationships.
And of course, no WiOPS event is complete without great food and even better company! Guests enjoyed smash burgers, nachos, popcorn, and refreshing libations while connecting with fellow members. Control Air’s office was the perfect, welcoming backdrop for the evening, and everyone who attended went home with an adorable Control Air hat!
