Alice Leung

Alice works for Brick & Mortar Ventures as an Investment Associate. She has 10 years of experience in the construction industry.

Alice learned about the construction industry from an info-session that DPR Construction gave at her school. She never considered the industry as an option as she was unaware of the career opportunities there. She took a chance on an internship with DPR after learning about the company culture and the types of buildings they worked on and joined DPR after graduation. 

Alice’s Favorite thing about construction is Problem solving!

Alice has a unique and pretty awesome hobby that keeps her healthy and strong:  I picked up powerlifting while working abroad in Singapore and continue to strength train on a regular basis. If anyone is interested in learning how to lift, I would be more than happy to help! I know this tends to be intimidating to a lot of women. 

When asked if there someone who inspires her:  I recently met Jennifer Suerth at Pepper Construction and I admire her so much! I love her approach to technology and innovation. 

Alice adopted a bengal kitten named Newton during quarantine.
