Our WiOPS Member of the Month for October 2019 is Casey Calcagnie.
Most members of her family are in the construction industry, so growing up she was always around it. She was awarded a scholarship from the CPMCA for her collegiate studies and knew from that moment on that she would be in the business one day.
She’s currently in a role that allows her to work across departments at Pan-Pacific Mechanical, including operations, to help secure company resources to support growth strategies and meet the company’s developmental and cultural vision for its employees. One of her favorite things about the construction industry is “seeing the impact that your work actually has on the end-user. Not a lot of professions offer that aspect, and to say you have been part of a building that is changing the skyline of a city and will last for generations is something truly incredible.” She adds that she’s grateful for groups like WiOPS, especially as she approaches the new adventure of motherhood. She feels that she will have a supportive network of strong women in the industry to reach out to. In addition to her involvement with WiOPS, Casey participates in DBIA, DBIA YP, USC Marshall Alumni Board, and Lymphoma Research Foundation. Congratulations Casey!
