A Day in the Life…as a Woman on the Jobsite

Hosted by Whiting-Turner

Building Better Jobsites Workshop

Join WiOPS NorCal and Whiting-Turner for an engaging, hands-on workshop focused on creating safer, more inclusive, and more effective jobsites for women in construction operations.

Through interactive discussions and collaborative exercises, participants will evaluate common jobsite resources, facilities, tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE) through the lens of the women who use them every day. Together, attendees will identify challenges, explore opportunities for improvement, and develop practical recommendations that enhance safety, accessibility, comfort, productivity, and workforce inclusion.

This session is designed to spark meaningful conversations, share real-world experiences, and generate actionable ideas that help build jobsites where women can thrive. Whether you work in operations, project management, field supervision, safety, engineering, or a support role, your perspective is valuable. Come collaborate with fellow industry professionals and help shape the future of more inclusive construction environments.
