WWT: End of Summer Event

The WWT committee invites you to join us for an informational panel event at the Los Angeles office of NAC as part of our ongoing efforts to encourage collaboration between architecture, engineering, and construction professionals. We will have a panel of women speakers discussing mass timber successful project delivery, empowering diverse teams, creating a collaborative culture, and much more. Light bites and drinks will be provided.

About WWT: In 2021, alumni leaders from SEAOSC – Women in Structural Engineering (WiSE), AIA-LA WiA , NAWIC-LA and WiOPS came together to create a means of collaborating between the four building and construction related associations and the Women Working Together (WWT) coalition group was formed.  The goal was to highlight the mutual missions of our associations, cross pollinate our resources as well as create events that promote, support and feature women from the different corners of our shared industry.   The WWT works to broaden the visibility of each of our associations, and our events create intentional opportunities to learn from and connect with colleagues and future collaborators across the industry. WWT networking events are intentional, accessible, and fun opportunities to connect across our distinct but closely aligned industries.  Our inaugural event was a held on March 31, 2022 in DTLA where our industry colleagues gathered to showcase women winemakers.  Our next gathering in 2023 was a breakfast event at HED, where attendees connected while enjoying custom crafted coffees and tea.  This spring saw a networking beer and pretzel happy hour at JAMA where over 100 industry professionals gathered to have intentional conversations and seek opportunities for collaboration across our industries. The success of sold-out WWT events spurs our committee to continue to look for ways to connect, showcase and highlight the common ground between our associations and our shared mission to strengthen each of our professions through the support and advancement of women.
