Julie Parker

Julie works for Dome Construction as a Project Manager and has 10 years of experience in the construction industry.

Julie started off studying Architecture on the East Coast and realized halfway through the program that she liked the industry, but Architecture wasn’t the right fit for her.  She decided to get a Masters in Construction Management while working full time and she has never looked back.  She plans to go back to school part time in the fall to study law with the hopes to utilize the additional degree within Dome.   

Julie’s favorite thing about construction is being a leader for women in the industry and helping women realize their full potential.

Her hobbies include Ceramics and Pickleball.

When asked if there someone who inspires her:  There are many strong women within Dome that inspire me.  The work that Melissa Berg has done within the organization to get a seat at the table and to demonstrate to other women that there is more room at the table has been inspiring to me.

Julie wanted to share this advice:  Don’t let anyone tell you that you aren’t meant for the construction industry.  If you enjoy what you do you are meant to work in construction.
