Karina Avalos

Join us in congratulating Karina Avalos as our January 2021 Member of the Month! Karina is the Vice President and CFO of Millwork Pioneers, Inc. She is currently working on the Resorts World Las Vegas Project. She recalls her favorite project being the Disney Grand Californian Guestroom Renovation since that was her first big project. She was initially excited to see the magic that is put into building a Disney project, but it is where she gained a the experience she needed to propel her career forward. She started off in the industry by applying for an AutoCAD drafting position, but after her interview her employer decided she was a better fit as an Assistant PM. She found a love for the project management side of the business which eventually led to her and her husband starting their own company, Millwork Pioneers, Inc.

 Karina is quite the entrepreneur, not only did she start a construction company, but she has also started her own cosmetics brand, Supine Beauty. In her free time she loves to give herself and other people make-overs. It was because of this hobby that she started her own brand. When she’s not working in the office she can be found exploring and learning about new places. Congratulations Karina on being this Month’s Member of the Month!
