Katie Squires

Join us in congratulating Katie Squires as our April 2021 Member of the Month! Katie works at Butier Engineering. She’s been in the construction industry for just under 7 years. After spending time in administration, she went back to school to get her degree in construction management. What she loves most about construction is “the opportunity to watch the progression of a project from start to finish. Each day you go onsite, you can learn something new and see things get done, right there and then.” What she values most about WiOPS, “is the opportunity to work with other women in construction who are also progressing their careers.” She also loves the opportunity to network and become a mentor or mentee and inspire other women to want to join the construction industry. She adds “take any opportunity you can, to learn something new.”
