Kristie Kloeppel
Congratulations to our September 2020 NorCal WiOPS Member of the Month, Kristie Kloeppel! She is a Project Executive with Cupertino Electric, Inc currently residing in El Cerrito. Kristie is a seasoned construction professional who has been in the industry for 22 years. She got her start in the construction industry in an unlikely way: by walking onto a construction site in her neighborhood when she was 18 years old and asking whether there were any job openings. A week later, she was working at that jobsite and has been in the industry ever since! Kristie loves construction because of the constant change in scenery. From the office to the jobsite to the different project types, there is always something new to learn and experience.
Outside of the jobsite Kristie is an avid roller skater. She played on and coached an internationally ranked championship roller derby team for 13 years. That is impressive! As a person of inspiration, she looks to Serena Williams whom she sees as exemplifying the word powerful in every sense; we would have to agree on that one!
