Congratulations to our WiOPS NorCal September Member of the Month, LaToya Thompson!
Position & Company: Territory Sales Manager, Hilti USA
LaToya is a Sales Manager for Hilti covering the Silicon Valley territory [San Jose, Santa Clara, Mountain View, etc]. She supports the Mechanical subcontractors on major sites for Google, Apple and Microsoft just to name a few. LaToya also trains site crews on proper Firestop applications and Safety for powder-actuated tool usage. LaToya has been in Construction for about 2 years now and shared that for her, “the beauty of having diversity within Construction is that someone like myself who has been in Sales Management for over 15 years can bring a new and refreshing perspective to the industry. My favorite part about Construction is being apart of the growing innovation and technology that will propel the industry into the future. It’s exciting!”
She has been a very active and supportive member of WiOPS NorCal attending many of our events, it’s hard to miss her with her glowing smile and outgoing personality. Outside of her work responsibilities LaToya told us, “I have been a drummer and orchestral percussionist for most of my life and my mother has her own Blues band as a singer, so music is everything to me.”
