Leah Santiago

Congratulations to our nominated September 2021 Member of the Month, Leah Santiago! Leah Santiago has been in construction since 2006 and currently works for Bernards as an Assistant Project Manager.

She grew up with construction and often helped her dad on his jobsites. She helps family and friends on their home remodels, and she continues to remodel her own home. In construction, she loves that the people are down-to-earth and real. The ability to collaborate with others and translate papers and images into a tangible hospital or library never ceases to amaze her. She says, “it is so rewarding to physically see all the blood, sweat, and RFI’s come together in a finished product we built together.”

Some words of advice based on her years of experience –

Spend the money on some GOOD boots

Always have a spare ponytail holder
