Join us in celebrating our June 2026 NorCal WiOPS Member of the Month, Alicia Brodsky! Alicia is a Bid Coordinator at Azul Works, Inc.
Alicia’s path into construction began with the encouragement of a friend and a willingness to embrace a new opportunity. Coming from a background in property management and real estate, she quickly discovered an industry filled with endless opportunities to learn, grow, and build meaningful relationships.
When she first entered construction, Alicia was searching for a community that would help her navigate a new career path. She found that support through WiOPS. What she values most about being a member is knowing there’s always a network of women willing to share their knowledge, offer encouragement, and help one another through both professional and personal challenges.
One of the greatest lessons Alicia has learned is that no matter how long you’ve been in construction, there is always something new to learn. That mindset of curiosity has introduced her to incredible people across the industry and continues to inspire her professional growth every day.
Her advice to women entering the industry is to build connections, especially with other women in construction. Those relationships provide encouragement, perspective, and a sense of community that can make every challenge feel a little more manageable.
Guided by the belief that “A positive attitude is unstoppable,” Alicia approaches every opportunity with optimism, curiosity, and a passion for continuous learning. We are grateful to have her as part of the WiOPS NorCal community and are proud to recognize her as our June Member of the Month.
