Join us in congratulating the June 2024 Member of the Month, Diana Cabrera Torres. She is a Project Manager at Control Air. Since she was very young, construction & architecture always spiked her interest. When she was in college studying business, she was introduced to Construction Management and decided to pursue her career in Project Management. She was able to intern for Pankow Builders her senior year and fell in love with the satisfaction that a project gives you once you see it come to life. Her favorite things about construction are teamwork and leadership.
Diana loves being part of a team and working with multiple trades to successfully accomplish a common goal; completing a successful project on time & under budget. She shares that she’s working on her leadership skills. Adding that “it can be challenging managing a team and telling other what to do and how to do it. But this is one of the things I have been working on the most and have been enjoying listening to others’ views and opinions.” She values the friendships & networks WiOPS has brought her.
