Congratulations to Kasey for being selected as our April 2024 Member of the Month! Kasey is currently an Accounting Supervisor at Final Cleaning Solutions and has worked in the industry for 4 years.
Kasey decided to pursue her construction career because she wanted to get out of the retail industry and was introduced to the construction industry by a friend. Her favorite thing about construction is “Being in the know” before the public. The thing that surprised her the most about construction is that so much goes into each project. From managing delays and keeping up with job costing, there never is a dull moment and she enjoys being part of that.
Kasey values the personal relationships that she has developed through WiOPS. With all the events she has attended to network and share about her company, she has seen the uniqueness and special talents all these women have to offer. Her favorite WiOPS event is Bernard’s Annual Golf Event. She also really enjoyed a virtual event hosted during COVID where everyone did a painting and she still has it on her desk.
Kasey is currently developing the following skills for her career growth in accounting: QuickBooks, job costing, CHST certification and project management. She has also been working on her Spanish. There is a podcast she highly recommends called “Huberman Lab” with Neuroscientist Andrew Huberman. This podcast is about how the nervous system works and how you can use it to be a better you.
