Join us in celebrating our January 2026 WiOPS Member of the Month, Madalaine Elliott. Madalaine is Business Development Manager at Cor-Ray Painting. She started her career in the construction industry as the assistant controller at a specialty manufacturing company. She recalls how the controller saw her strengths and skills and identified that project management would be a good fit for her. She remains a mentor to Madalaine. She learned so much and feels thankful for what she saw in her.
Her favorite thing about construction is all the cool projects that she gets to be part of and the great clients she has become friends with over time. She’s still surprised that young women don’t understand the potential of working in the construction field. She was able to raise four sons on her construction salary and loves every part of it.
About WiOPS, she says it is a fun engaging organization where you can meet other professionals. “I love WiOPS! I have to say we were honored to host our very own event this year. I really enjoyed putting this together and seeing it come to life with all the support we got. Thank you to everyone who attended!!”
