Join us in celebrating our December 2025 WiOPS Member of the Month, Marika Pereira. Marika is a Project Assistant at Schuff Steel Company. She got into construction by complete accident; a friendly dinner conversation led to a job interview. Her favorite thing about construction is watching the team create the skeleton of a new building where there wasn’t anything before and coming back to see the end results long after steel is finished. She enjoyed hosting a WiOPS event at Schuff Steel this year, because she was able to watch other people enjoy part of her trade.
