Greatness lives within each of us – it is in exploring what we have to offer each other and in earnestly making it available that we realize it.
- How did you get into the construction industry?
- As a young kid I was always interested in building things, Legos and Lincoln Logs, but it was when I was 16, working as a laborer and carpenter during my summer vacations, that I realized building was my true calling. During college I worked multiple internships for builder developers and went to work for a General Contractor out of college
- Favorite thing about construction:
- The satisfaction of building meaningful things – buildings, relationships and teams. What we build is always important – building spaces that help people, that help the communities we live in is extremely rewarding. Just as rewarding has to be the relationships forged and teams built in this process – watching individuals develop and grow, seeing team members flourish, many of which I’ve had the privilege to get to know personally and call them my friends.
- Other affiliations or hobbies:
- Sports has always played a big part in my life, whether watching, competing or just having fun recreationally. Sports has taught me so many great life lessons.
- Is there someone who inspires you and why?
- My family inspires me – whether it’s my wife and her seemingly endless capacity to care and love or my children who fearlessly navigate this world on their own terms. They inspire me to be and do more every day.
