Join WiOPS Southern California in thanking Snyder Langston for hosting our October event “Spare the Small Talk!” WiOPS members gathered at Bowlero in Tustin for a night of intentional networking in a fun and organic setting.
Prior to the event, attendees were assigned to a bowling group consisting of people of different roles and from different companies. They were encouraged to reach out to each other ahead of time, connect on LinkedIn, and learn a little bit about their bowling partners so that they’d come to the event with some talking points and start to form a professional connection. The event started with a networking portion where each bowling group was able to chat and connect. We then heard opening remarks from Chapter President, and were introduced to Jo-E Lopez, Chief Relationship Officer at Snyder Langston. Jo-E welcomed WiOPS to the event, and members even got to hear a little bit about Snyder Langston and some fun facts and figures about their company (like that 25% of their employees are female – well above the industry average!). We then kicked off the bowling portion of the event, where attendees got to continue their conversations while bowling and enjoying food and drinks.
