Our February 2020 Member of the Month is Nicole Baeza!
She is a proud WiOPS member who you can always find at the monthly meetings with a smile on her face. Nicole went to CSULB planning to work in marketing after graduation, but after a close friend and classmate showed her the wonders of working in the construction field she made the change and became a Project Engineer at Snyder Langston instead. Since making the change in career paths she has not regretted stating, “I love that every day is uniquely different and challenging.” She has had the pleasure of working on the Discovery Park project in Irvine and the USC Baum Family Maker Space – Library Renovation in LA. She enjoys transforming ideas from paper to life at work as well as at home where she enjoys helping couples plan their weddings. Nicole appreciates the safe space WiOPS provides to the women of the industry and has given her the opportunity to connect with her peers, “I’ve made lasting friendships here and am thankful for that!”
