Congratulations to our October WiOPS NorCal Member of the Month, Marcia Lane!
Marcia is a Project Manager with ACCO Engineered Systems and has been working in the industry for 10 years with ACCO. Marcia lives in Oakland and enjoys hiking, travel, scuba diving, underwater photography, political volunteering, and activism. She is also passionate about her work, she tells us, “Every day is something new and exciting, the job never gets old and is always challenging. We get to work together as a team with people from all different disciplines to solve complex and difficult problems. And at the end of the day, we get to see the product of our efforts and the work that was done.“ Marcia also shared this thought about WiOPS, “I’ve spent 10 years in the construction industry, and it’s so rewarding as each year goes by to see more and more women in the construction industry. WiOPS is a great organization to meet women from other trades who can help with mentorship and career advise.”
