Tenille Bettenhausen

Join us in congratulating Tenille Bettenhausen for being selected as our December 2020 Member of the Month! Tenille works for the American Institute of Steel Construction where she is currently working on several steel projects as the area resource. Before being the go to resource for various project she was a Project Engineer at Hoag Hospital. On this project she designed and move the palliative care teams office space from the basement to a space with windows. This was her favorite project since she was helping hard working people with an even harder job to have a little bit brighter and cheery space. At the end of the project they were all incredibly grateful.
Tenille has always loved design; after starting school to become an architect she’s never looked back. She loves being in a field that allows her to try so many different things. Having tried quite a few, she adds “I am sure I haven’t done all the roles yet and that’s exciting.” She is even creating a whole new role in the industry for herself. Starting in January she’ll be releasing her very own podcast that covers true crime and construction! She is also a loving mother of two and they like to keep her busy outside of work and her new podcast. Congratulations Tenille on being WiOPS Member of the Month!
