Veronica Alvarez

Congratulations to Veronica Alvarez for being selected as our Member of the Month for February 2021! She is the SW Regional Manager at RedZone. A civil engineer by trade, she is an expert in underground infrastructure. Veronica impresses with her knowledge of sewer operations at both the field level and high executive level. On multiple occasions, she’s been seen helping crew members in the field, rolling up her sleeves to find the best-possible solutions. She says that “team camaraderie is really important.” She is patient and makes the extra strides to explain approaches in detail. In addition, she tutors underprivileged kids and encourages minorities and economically-disadvantaged students to pursue STEM studies. She wants to “make sure that girls and women know that [the construction industry] can be a positive experience.” She is committed to her field and to the community. Veronica was nominated by someone who has worked closely with her – a true testament to her and her work.
